Vanessa

On Dec 31st 2015, Vanessa turns 52 years old! She was officially registered in Kenya on Dec 31 1963 (chassis reads 1959) and has been in the family since brand new. My Mum helped convince Mzee to hand it over to me ten years ago on Dec 31st 2005. She had been abandoned for about four years and restoring her seemed impossible. My passion however was fuelled by my childhood memories riding in the backseat as my grandma drove it. Its been a work in progress and my reliable daily driver. Arguably the oldest VW bug daily runner in East Africa
